5/27/2010 - Over the last week, the student sustainability crew (supported by students and faculty) took the extra and unwanted books and textbook decorating classrooms and dorm rooms and collected them together for donation. 5/25/2010 - Sunday evening through Tuesday morning, next year's student leaders were busy in meetings with the Deans and faculty, talking and learning about what it means to be a leader at Holderness. Much of the time has also been spent with faculty, building trust, and opening important lines of communication for the future.

5/24/2010 - The 131st Commencement at Holderness School is in the books, and it was a glorious day. Thank you to everyone - students, parents, faculty, staff, trustees, and, of course, graduates - who made it all happen. It was a wonderful celebration of a great class.

5/21/2010 - Following the Senior Movie in Chapel (at which we honored Lee Phillips our organist of 28 years), students moved to Weld for the Senior Dinner. Seniors sat with friends, and had their tables waited on by the junior leaders. Following dinner, the freshman class awarded the Bob Brooks Award to Dillon Corkran '10 and we heard from two speakers: Nick Stoico '11 and Mr. Mure.View |

5/21/2010 - It was a full day today as students took their last exam in the morning (science) before attending the second round of Senior Honors Thesis presentations. Following these, students worked to clean up their dorms and rooms and get ready for the weekend before heading off to SpringFest.

5/20/2010 - After taking the foreign language exam earlier this afternoon, students headed for Weld and another set of treats courtesy of the Parents' Association. In between bowls of ice cream, they sat on the Quad, played ultimate frisbee, and hung out with faculty kids. It was hard not to take a quick study break given the sun and warmth on this beautiful spring day.
