4/19/2009 - Spring on the Quad
A highlight of each spring is spending warm Sunday afternoons resting and recreating on the quad. Today was the first warm Sunday afternoon. Students were playing frisbee, throwing lacrosse balls, reading, doing SAT review sessions (really!), reading, and relaxing with friends all over the quad.

4/18/2009 - The cycling team was on the grass the other day, practicing arm-to-arm contact and bumping wheels in anticipation of some upcoming competitions. 4/16/2009 - Spring Quad Golfing
As I was walking home from my office last night I ran into Jordan Cargill hitting a golf ball outside the Schoolhouse. Not only was Jordan golfing, he was being cheered on by six other enthusiastic spring evening golfers (I am not sure any are on the golf team). Next up to tee was Mardi Haskell.

4/16/2009 - Senior "Almost Alumni" Dinner
Tonight, instead of chapel and Thursday night dinner, we surprised the senior class with a special dinner at the Common Man Inn. Buses and vans took the entire senior class to the Inn, where we enjoyed an excellent meal and some fun an thoughtful reflections from four alums.

Yesterday, long-time teacher Jim Brewer, Publications Director Rick Carey, and I traveled to Rye to spend some time with Norm and Phyllis Walker.

4/13/2009 - Springing into Action!
This spring has not been especially warm, but Monday afternoon the temperatures rose into the 50's and lots of students were out taking advantage of the warmer weather.

This weekend over a hundred students stayed on campus. On Saturday afternoon we had a full schedule of home and away games, which lots of students, parents, and alums attended.
