Happy Chinese New Year!
Sunday night Mrs. Peck and I hosted 45 students, faculty, and family at our house for a Chinese New Year celebration. We were a week early because next Sunday (the real date) we will all be on the Parents' Weekend break. So tonight we enjoyed dumplings, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, Chinese meat balls, and many more delicious Chinese treats. It was certainly a most memorable evening for all of us!
Many thanks to Sarah Xiao's parents, who cooked the delicious dumplings. We were also most fortunate to have the friends of Chris and Cynthia Day's good friends, David and Rica Grace cook an authentic Chinese meal.
